• In-depth know-how about import /export /cross trade business by Sea freight & Air freight On job experience of international freight forwarding job costing and quotations.
• Capability to handle freight enquiries , quotations and coordination with local and international clients.
• Experience in rate & service negotiations with Shipping lines /airlines and overseas agents
• Proficiency in handling MNC clients and execution of time bound & critical sea/air shipments.
• Knowledge about customs procedures and port operations.
• Good convincing and problem solving skills.
• Capability to handle freight forwarding operations & customer service independently without supervision.
• Timely job invoicing and preparing job reports.
• Highly aggressive, proactive and pre planned work style.
• Excellent written & oral linguistics skills.

Job responsibilities:

• Identify & develop new clients for freight forwarding business.
• Generate stipulated business revenue and achieving assigned monthly sales targets.
• Regular business meetings and delivering strategic sales presentations to the new/existing clients.
• Quote and negotiate rates with clients based on their inquiries.
• Maintain and ensure smooth business.
• Reporting to the managers about the current industry trends and competitor activity.
• Sales pre planning and daily/Weekly highlights on prospective clients as well as secured businesses.
• Co-ordination with CS/operations dept. for the smooth running of shipments.
• Monitoring outstanding and credit with clients within agreed terms.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 3-5 years experience in Freight Forwarding Sales in UAE with existing client base and business.
• Deep knowledge of the shipping & freight forwarding industry.
• Aggressive and optimistic attitude.
• Excellent Linguistics and presentation skills.
• UAE driving License desirable.
